Adaptiv SD-WAN

Originally developed by Adaptiv Networks and now operating as SC//Connect under Scale Computing (acquired February 2026), this cloud-managed SD-WAN platform replaces expensive MPLS with intelligent, application-aware routing over broadband, LTE/4G/5G, and existing circuits. It prioritizes real time UC and voice traffic using QoS policies ensuring crystal-clear call quality across all branch locations, and is built for retail, distributed enterprise, and critical branch environments.

Key Capabilities

Seamless automatic failover

across broadband, MPLS, and LTE/4G/5G links, keeping voice calls connected with no change in IP address

QoS traffic prioritization

that protects Mitel UC voice and video from congestion, keeping latency and packet loss low

Zero-touch provisioning

enabling new branch sites to be brought online remotely without on-site IT staff

Application-aware traffic steering

with real time routing decisions based on application type, link quality, and business policy

Integrated cloud-based firewall, site-to-site AES VPN encryption, and SASE-ready secure internet access at every branch

Centralized cloud orchestrator

providing real time monitoring, link health analytics, and alerts across all sites simultaneously

Frequently Asked Questions

SD-WAN (software-defined wide area network) connects your offices and branches by managing several connections, such as broadband, mobile and MPLS, as one network and sending each application over the best one. It is used by companies with many branches, such as retail chains, clinics and banks. SURIA deploys Adaptiv SD-WAN (now SC//Connect by Scale Computing) for multi-branch companies in Indonesia.

MPLS is a private network leased from a telecom provider: reliable, but costly and slow to extend to new sites. SD-WAN manages several connections, including broadband, mobile and MPLS, as one network and picks the best path for each application. It can replace MPLS or run alongside it, cutting cost while keeping calls and business apps stable.

Migrate in phases so every branch stays connected throughout. A typical plan has five steps:

  1. Audit your network

List every site, its links and contract end dates, and the applications that matter most, such as voice, ERP and payment systems.

  2. Pilot alongside MPLS

Run SD-WAN next to your existing MPLS at one or two sites and set priority rules for voice and key applications.

  3. Test before you switch

Check call quality, failover and application performance at the pilot sites.

  4. Roll out in waves

Move the remaining sites in groups, keeping MPLS as a backup until each site is proven stable.

  5. Retire MPLS

Cancel MPLS circuits as their contracts end, and keep monitoring link quality from the central dashboard.

Adaptiv SD-WAN replaces expensive MPLS circuits with intelligent routing across broadband, LTE, 4G, and 5G links while maintaining enterprise grade security and voice quality. It automatically selects the best available path for each application and switches to a backup link so branch staff stay connected when a primary link fails.

Adaptiv SD-WAN switches traffic to a backup link automatically when the primary link becomes degraded or unavailable. Its patented failover keeps sessions on the same IP address, so voice calls and real time UC sessions stay connected instead of dropping.

Yes. Adaptiv SD-WAN includes built in QoS policies that prioritize Mitel voice and UC traffic to keep latency and packet loss low on calls. This makes it an ideal companion for MiVoice Business and MiVoice MX-ONE deployments across distributed branch environments in Indonesia.

Adaptiv SD-WAN uses zero touch provisioning, which means a new branch device can be deployed by non-technical staff simply by connecting it to the internet. The device automatically connects to the cloud orchestrator, downloads its configuration, and comes online without requiring an IT engineer to travel to the site.

Adaptiv SD-WAN includes a cloud-based firewall, site-to-site AES-256 VPN encryption, and SASE-ready secure internet access at every branch location. All traffic is monitored and managed through a centralized cloud dashboard that provides real time link health, application analytics, and security alerts.
